Limited Lifetime Warranty and Service Policy
All RainShadow rod blanks, ALPS and ForeCast rod components are individually manufactured and inspected with the utmost care. However, should failure occur due to defects in materials or workmanship (to be determined by Batson Enterprises), the rod blank or section of the rod blank and components would be replaced (to be determined by Batson Enterprises) at no charge. RainShadow will not warranty blanks designed as Fly rods that are used as casting or spinning rods.
The consumer must make all warranty claims directly to RainShadow, ALPS and ForeCast. RainShadow dealers or distributors are not authorized to perform warranty service for RainShadow, ALPS and ForeCast. Any repair work done outside the Batson facility will void your warranty. All blanks should be properly packaged and insured when returning for warranty.
RainShadow blanks and ALPS and ForeCast components that have been damaged by misuse, accident or normal wear are not covered under this warranty. RainShadow blanks and ALPS and ForeCast components not covered under warranty may also be replaced at a reasonable charge. Batson Enterprises will advise you of the cost of replacement and wait for approval before proceeding. Please remove all components that you want to retain before sending the rod back for warranty claim. IF IT IS A MULT-PIECE ROD, REMOVE COMPONENTS FROM THE BROKEN SECTION ONLY. IF IT IS A MULTI PIECE ROD, PLEASE SEND THE ENTIRE ROD SO THAT WE CAN INSURE THE FIT OF THE REPLACEMENT SECTION.
This warranty is limited to the blank and does not cover direct, indirect, consequential, incidental or any other type of damage resulting from the use of the blank. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
A COPY OF THE PURCHASE RECEIPT, YOUR WARRANTY CARD AND A CHECK OR MONEY ORDER FOR $30.00 SHIPPING AND HANDLING COSTS MUST ACCOMPANY ALL WARRANTY CLAIMS. If the return shipping length is over 9’ and/or the destination is other than the United States or Canada, actual return shipping costs will be assessed. Please include your name and contact information should we need to contact you.
