New for 2024, Forecast is offering the GST molded trigger seat. This style of reel seat (often referred to as a “palm trigger” or “long trigger” seat) features a longer trigger with a negative rake angle. This allows anglers to hold the rod with the trigger behind the rear edge of the palm, providing greater comfort in jigging, and other fishing applications where the rod tip is pointed downward much of the time.

This seat also fits seamlessly with the Forecast Slow Pitch Split Grip series of EVA grips.
