Product Warranty and Replacement the Batson Way

We get it. When you gear is out of service it's a hassle, and if you're reading this you may have a busted rod or have a product that's just not working properly. The good news is that Batson's passion for quality old-fashioned service also extends to the way we handle warranty and replacement. Please fill out and submit the short form below and our team will get you back to fishing or rod building as soon as possible.  Below are the basics of the Batson warranty and replacement process.

 

Rainshadow Blank Warranty and Replacement - What to Expect
  • Blanks damaged during shipping/handling, pre-build rod blank inspection, or suspected factory defect (not common.)  Action: Please fill out the short form below and our team will reach out for further details as needed, assess the damage, and may issue a replacement blank or blank section at no charge at our discretion. Batson may require the damaged blank to be sent back for inspection.
  • Blanks damaged in the course of normal or abnormal use (e.g. tailgates, high sticking, previous wear and tear - most common.)  Action: Please fill out the short form below and our team will reach out for further details as needed and send a link for payment of a $30.00 no-fault replacement fee. In many cases Batson will require the damaged blank to be sent back for inspection and replacement section fitting where applicable (customer is responsible for the cost of shipping broken section to Batson.) Our no-fault replacement fee includes your blank or blank section replacement and return shipping cost.
  • International Addresses or 1-Piece Rod Blanks Over 96") Warranty and replacement options for non-U.S. addresses and oversize blanks are offered on a case by case basis due to extremely high shipping costs. Please fill out the short form below and our team will reach out with options specific to your case.
 
Alps and Forecast Products (components, tools, supplies, and anything else)
